About us

Who we are: K.O.DOJO

K.O.DOJO is a full-contact Kyokushin karate school in Vienna, run by LEBO Sports e.U. “K.O.” stands for Kyokushin Original: real training at a high level, from age 4 to 99. More than 200 active members train with us in five groups, from kids karate to competition Kumite.

The dojo is led by Emanuel & Iuliia Lebo, both highly graded fighters. Together we bring over two decades of martial-arts experience onto the mat and pass it on to the next generation.

We offer karate and fighting for adults, kids programs by age, competition training and our own tournament operation. As an employer we are young, ambitious and family-like. What counts here is skill, effort and character.

    As soon as your complete application reaches us, we review it right away. Depending on the position we also use a personality test to see how well you match our values.

  4. Phone call

    Before we invite you to an interview there is a short early phone call to see whether it fits and to clear up first questions.

  5. Job interview

    Online or on site we talk it through: why you fit with us and which final points need clearing. Then the decision is made.

    Martial arts coach – kids & adults

    You independently lead training groups from kids karate to adult Kumite and move our members forward week after week. Full-time, with a long-term perspective and in-house training.

    Your tasks
    • Independently lead martial arts and self-defence sessions for children and adults
    • Plan and build up training along our curriculum
    • Pass on values, discipline and joy in training
    • Inspire and motivate members and accompany them on their way
    • Actively shape day-to-day training and take on responsibility in the dojo
    • Communicate confidently with parents, children and adults
    • Prepare and accompany gradings and competitions
    • Share your knowledge in the team and help us develop further
    Your profile
    • Martial arts background, preferably Kyokushin or another karate style
    • Enjoy working with children and adults
    • Reliable, punctual, a team player
    • Good German language skills
    • Willing to keep learning in our system

    • Fair pay & conditions
      Salary and all conditions per collective agreement: from €2,251 gross for full-time, higher depending on employment group and previous years of service. Holiday entitlement, special payments and all further entitlements are governed by the collective agreement.

    You support our coaching team on selected days and times. Ideal if you love martial arts and want a flexible role alongside studies or another job.

    Office administrator

    You keep our back free behind the scenes: member administration, communication and organisation. The ideal entry into a young, growing company.

    Your tasks
    • Classic commercial and administrative work: issuing invoices, monitoring payments, recording receipts, setting up personnel files
    • Member and contract administration
    • Secretarial and assistance tasks: letters, emails, notes and minutes
    • Customer contact by phone and looking after our members
    • Pre-qualifying prospective members and applicants by phone
    • Keeping an eye on stock levels and triggering reorders
    • Organising appointments and events, including travel and seminars
    Your profile
    • Completed commercial training an advantage
    • Confident with digital tools, an affinity for AI is an advantage
    • Quick on the uptake and highly disciplined
    • Able to work with concentration and stay focused over longer stretches
